These guys are still the striking, velvety black docile tarantulas the hobby has come to love, just rebranded with a new scientific name. These slow growing, hardy tarantulas are perfect for beginners and those with experience. I give these guys a lower layer of moist dirt, letting it dry out on top, with a waterdish. Overflow the waterdish 1x a week. They are avid burrowers and little bulldozers.
