Pamphobeteus sp platyomma

These tarantulas are beautiful, male and female! This species is a true giant, reaching a whopping 7-9" legspan. Females are varying shades of brown and black, with subtle pink highlights on their carapace. Upon maturity, males explode with vibrant pinks and light purples. Like all Pamphobeteus, slings and juveniles are quite moisture dependant. Keep lower levels of substrate moist, but let the top dry out. They do get more hardy as they get larger, but I keep adults with some moisture.
