Poecilotheria metallica

This striking blue beauty is one of the most sought after arboreals in the hobby. Lightning fast when disturbed, this tarantula has the potential to act defensively. Paired with potent venom, this species should be kept by those with some experience, or by someone who has done their research. Slings and juveniles can burrow, only displaying arboreal behaviour when they get older. This species likes a bit of moisture when they are smaller, but when they ut on some size and behave more arboreally, moisture is not a concern provided they have a waterdish. Fun fact, their name came before the iconic band!
